Pricing and Consultations

I strongly encourage potential clients to make an appointment to meet me. I offer a free initial consultation followed by a written proposal for your event design and flowers. This initial consultation will also give you a chance to look at my portfolio, meet me to see if you like my style, and to discuss your ideas and vision for your wedding.

The event design business is a thoroughly personalized one. Each event is priced individually. Each wedding is different from the next. Pricing of floral designs and event decoration depends completely upon the season, the variety of flowers, the style of arrangements, the size of the event and how elaborate it is. I usually tell my clients to expect to spend between 10-20% of their overall budget on the decorations for the wedding. If the decoration budget includes linen rental and extensive transformations to a space, expect to pay more than 20%. I find it is helpful if people have considered their budget ahead of time and are honest and clear about it from the beginning.
